About Josh
I am an enterprise content strategist, information architect, and strategic advisor with 15+ years of experience designing scalable digital experiences for complex ecosystems. My work bridges human-centered content strategy and programmatic, AI-driven content operations (ContentOps).
Currently, I serve as a content strategy manager at MERGE, a marketing and technology agency with deep human-centered design capabilities. Many of my clients lead complex digital transformations within highly regulated sectors like healthcare, life sciences, and financial services. I collaborate across departments to design and facilitate strategy at both the enterprise and digital property level.
Over my career, I’ve partnered with Fortune 500 companies, major healthcare providers, biotech and consumer technology innovators, government agencies, and global nonprofits. Previously, I led content strategy for NGOs that focused on emergency relief, global development, and education. I've also worked for publishing houses as a manuscript editor and peer-review coordinator. I've built websites since the '90s.
My work has appeared in articles published by 18F, CharityComms, CMSWire, Forum One, Greenpeace, and ICTworks, and in the book Designing Connected Content: Plan and Model Digital Products for Today and Tomorrow, by Mike Atherton and Carrie Hane.
